ℹ️ Early release. Estimates only — details. Not financial advice.

What are you overpaying?

Enter your usage and current rates — or load a sample to see how it works. We apply your numbers to every plan we track in your state and rank them, cheapest first. No address required.

Covers NSW, ACT, VIC, SE QLD, SA & (limited) TAS. Not yet WA, NT or regional QLD — enter your postcode and we'll offer to notify you if we can't help yet.

Upload your bill — optional shortcut

Have a PDF or photo of your electricity or gas bill? Drop it here and we'll read your rates, usage and current retailer, and fill in the form below for you to check. You can upload several at once — a free check reads your 6 most recent, and subscribers can upload a full year for a more accurate picture. Your bill is sent securely to our AI reader, used only to extract the numbers, and never stored. If that's unavailable we fall back to reading it in your browser.

PDF or image (PNG/JPG). Separate electricity and gas bills? Add both — we'll combine them. More bills means a better picture: a full year captures your summer and winter swings, where a few months has to be scaled up. Best-effort reading — always check the values we extract.
1

Where you are & how you're charged

Are you comparing a home or a small business? Then your postcode tells us your state and distributor, and your tariff type decides how usage is priced.

2

Your current rates & usage

Find these on your latest bill. Use annual figures — if your bill is quarterly, add up four quarters (or multiply one by 4). Cents per unit, e.g. 34.8.

Solar (optional)

We credit your exported energy at each plan's feed-in tariff — and remember, a high feed-in rate often hides a higher usage rate.

4

Gas (optional)

Gas is billed per megajoule (MJ). Your annual usage and rates are on your gas bill.

How does this work?
